We know you are looking forward to your trip and want to assist in making your travel experience as stress free as possible. It can be mind boggling trying to figure out how to travel safe and effectively in the time of COVID.
Below is the latest information on current COVID mandates and restrictions.
We will be updating this blog post as things change due to cases increasing.
Traveling from the US to Costa Rica
The temporary immigration measures for entering Costa Rica, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, were repealed on April 1st. There are no requirements to complete a Health Pass or medical insurance for unvaccinated foreigners. All commercial establishments and activities are operating at 100% capacity.
Although the use of a mask is not mandatory, it is recommended to maintain the protocol of hand washing and temperature taking, as well as compliance with health protocols in each tourist activity.
Traveling from Costa Rica back to the United States
The CDC no longer requires air travelers to show a negative COVID-19 test result or proof of recovery to enter the United States. Please note, the CDC’s order requiring proof of vaccination for all nonimmigrant, non-U.S. citizen air travelers to the United States is still in effect.
